Is Legacy Doomed?

    The Legacy debuted at the grandaddy of them all Wrestle Fest 2 in July of 2009.  Led by their dangerous leader Randy Orton, Legacy made their mark in TWA early by interupting Big Bossman's return speech. After Bossman defeated Cody Rhodes , Orton attacked Bossman delivering an RKO. Later in that card the Bossman provided some questionable officiating in the number one contenders match between Blue Blazer and Orton.  With Ted Dibiase Jr. losing to IRS also that night, Legacy Members Orton , Rhodes, and Dibiase Jr had a sub par debut at Wrestle Fest 2.  

   

    With the negative momentum from Wrestle Fest 2, Many wondered how the faction would rebound at King of the Tramp 2.   In a 12 man tournament bracket however, all three members of Legacy were in the same sectional.  During the first rd match between Rhodes and Dibiase Jr. Orton came down and delivered, and rko to Ted Dibiase Jr. Thus giving the win to Cody Rhodes.  Ted Dibiase Jr. was paying for talking back to Randy Orton in a pre match interview, stating that it would be every legacy member for themselves. 

 

    The second round match was between Cody Rhodes and Leader Randy Orton with a final four ticket on the line.  Rhodes appeared to be the legacy member more obbiediant to Orton however when asked to lay down by Orton, Rhodes hesitated.  Orton would yell, "Cody , Lay Down!"  Cody Layed down, only to kick out at 2.  Orton, angered delivered 2 RKO's to Cody Rhodes for the 1 2 3. 

 

Orton would lose to Big Bossman in the final four, after the match Orton snapped delivering an RKO to Big Bossman , Orton was quoted by saying "If you want anything done in TWA you have to worry about yourself" 

 

Which brings us to now,  What is next for Legacy?  They are obviosly a disfunctional Faction.  They have registered a record of 2-6 combined win/ loss total in 2 pay per views, and their biggest problem is they cant get along.   These 3 Superstars all have a bright future in the TWA, But as a colective unit, it doesnt seem to be working.  Tune in this summer at Strive to Survive 2, to see if the Legacy can rebound from their slow start as a faction, or will they be doomed?
