The Night the Belt Changed Hands was at WrestleFest in March of 1999.  The Rock, a TWA original, had recently captured the Hardcore Title from Cactus Jack at St. Valentine's Day Massacre. But on this night, The Rock had a greater test in the form of the up and coming Gangrel. Gangrel looked as if he wouldnt be able to hang with the all ready established "people's champion" , he was tied up and blasted with 14-18 shots with a sled, power bombed through a card table, and recieved a people's elbow. Gangrel showed his guts and determination by landing a signature flying clothes line thus leading to the win. This was a big time match on a big time stage, and took Gangrel's career to mainstream.
